Senior Center
The senior center is currently closed with a TENTATIVE reopening date of Monday, June 1st, 2021. Closer to June 1st the reopening will be re-evaluated. Senior Center Staff are not reporting to work, a message can be left for the center at 330-659-9203 (message checked periodically). This situation continues to be ever-changing, so please continue to check the website for latest updates or contact the Mayor’s office on 330-659-9201 ext. 234.
Membership
Yearly dues are $10 for Richfield Village and Richfield Township residents, and $15 for non-residents.
Membership Requirements
Age 55 and over, but definitely young at heart.
Mission Statement
- Provide an environment that validates the changing needs and interests of senior citizens and enhance growth, dignity, and connection with each other and the greater community.
- Foster improved understanding of the unique talents and abilities of senior citizens and their importance to the greater community .
- Identify senior needs within Richfield Village, Richfield Township and surrounding communities and communicate those needs to the Human Services Commission.
- Through creative programming: provide participants opportunities and resources in the areas of physical and mental health, nutrition, recreation and education.
- Enjoy the fellowship of those who share common interests and goals.
