Summit County residents can pay their sewer bill online at https://summitoh.firstbilling.com/ or use the drop box location at 1180 S. Main St in Akron. Only checks may be deposited in the drop box.

Until public access has been restored, only law enforcement will be able to make drops off at Animal Control. Members of the public who wish to be reunited with their animal should call

Updates as of 3.17.20:

The Village Town Hall is closed to the public in response to Federal, State and County guidelines to manage the COVID19 pandemic.  (Please view Mayor Wheeler’s update to the community shown above.  Included with the Mayor is Township Trustee Jeff Shupe and the Incident Action Team comprised of Fire Chief Phil McLean, Police Chief Mike Swanson and Executive Assistant to the Mayor and HR Coordinator, Debbie Bluso Rogers)

The Police and Fire Department are fully staffed but the majority of staff are working remotely per the County and CDC (Centers for Disease Control).  Police Dispatch is open to the public and fees, bill payments and tax forms are being collected there.  All essential business of the Village continues to be performed.  The Incident Action Team closely monitors any new developments through multiple state and county agencies and responds as necessary.  As information is updated, the website and Facebook will be utilized but you can still direct inquiries to the Mayor’s office on 330-659-9201 ext. 234 or dbluso-rogers@richfieldvillageohio.org or mwheeler@richfieldvillageohio.org.
