The extended deadline to have your meter installed AND inspected is December 15, 2025. Failure to comply by this date will result in penalties. Residents or property owners on a well that may be affected by the enforcement of Ordinance 84-2023 in section 926.15 should have also received letters in the mail.
On August 5, 2025, Council passed Ordinance No. 57-2025, which can be found by clicking here. The Village is now offering loans to residents or property owners in financial hardship and need assistance purchasing and installing a water meter required by Ordinance 84-2023 in section 926.15. Please note that applications may only be submitted in person to the Finance Department located at 4410 W. Streetsboro Road.
If you are on Cleveland Water, you DO NOT need a meter from the Village. The cost of a 1” Meter is $328.00 and a ¾” Meter is $214.00. These prices include a Meter, Couplings, Washers and Touch Pad. Residents may pay with cash, check or credit card (3.5% fee on top of the meter price if paying with card). We ask if residents pay with cash to bring the exact change (however not required).
Residents or property owners can purchase their meter in the Service Department Office located at the Village Administration Building (4410 W. Streetsboro Road).
