Village Updates Regarding Coronavirus

As recommended and in response to Governor DeWine’s Executive Order and recommendations provided by the State and County Health Departments, the Park and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, April 4 has been cancelled. The Village has established the Coronavirus Awareness and Preparedness Team comprised of University Hospital Medical Director Anthony Daher, Fire Chief Phil McLean, Police Chief Mike Swanson, Mayor Wheeler and Debbie Bluso Rogers, to respond to the ever-changing situations regarding this virus and the impact on our community. Please expect updates to Village events and programs as this illness is monitored including the Village’s response to ensure safety.

Suspension and cancellations as of 3.12.2020: 

The following buildings will be closed until April 13, 2020:

  • Fellowship Hall
  • Masonic Hall
  • The Senior Center
  • Parks and Recreation
  • Richfield Historical Society

Village Hall doors will be locked to avoid spread of Coronavirus. If you have business to conduct, please call the main number at 330-659-9201 if you have business to conduct.

The senior center is closed until Monday, April 6. Senior Center Staff will continue to report to work and you can contact the center on 330-659-9203. This situation continues to be ever-changing, so please continue to check the website for latest updates or contact the Mayor’s office on 330-659-9201 ext. 234.
